May be somebody help me, I want to buy a loptop, but most
of them they do not have floppy drive, and I have a lot of
pictures saved in floppy disks, how I can I transfer from
a floppy disk to a CD or dvd, thanks for your help.

I have a Windows 98 machine that I recently installed.  I
am using an NEC Multisync 50 Monitor.  For whatever
reason, I cannot get the Settings past the 16 color VGA.  
Windows always installs its standard VGA device driver

Brief background about my problem.  I have an old computer
that used to run on Win 95.  It had three partitions and
now I formatted them, intending to clean up all the mess
of files.  The Processor speed is 166 Mhz.

I have an old laptop I would like to reformat the hard
drive on.  I know the first thing I needed to do is create
a boot disk, which I did, but when I tried to test it, it
just got to the a: prompt.  I thought it was supposed to

start up the pc form the boot disk, I can't get to my cd-
rom drive (d:) to start the installation process.
Further, I think the version of Windows on my computer is

I have used Windows 95 on a 166MMX Pentium PC for several
years.
When I now try and start up i get the "Windows was not
shut down properly" message.
