IBM laptop #760EL (type 9547U4G) is in suspend mode. (Scan
disk) The system stopped responding, no cursor on screen,
no keyboard or mouse response. Need Win 95 boot or start
disk or instruction. Unable to properly shut down or

my floppy disk drive and cd rom drive both say they are
inaccessible when i try to use them. they were working
fine, now i can't use either. help. thank you

While running AVG software to fix a virus, the "lfop.exe"
file in the C: drive - of a laptop with Windows 95 - was
apparently eliminated.  Probably,it was moved to the virus
vault to fix the infection?  Now I can't go to MS-Dos or

after post the i get this message OS load progress....
invalid system disk
replace disk, and press any key
and thats it how do you get to safe mode using 95? it

One fine morning I received this error message when I
started my IBM Aptiva running Win 95: "The Parameter is
incorrect". The only option it gives is "OK" which, when
selected, allows me to work. No other system related

I deleted a pop-up blocker without "uninstalling" it, and
then a prompted asked if I wanted to re-target the .exe
file that was in the startup configuration (I guess) to
Adobe.exe.  Now, my computer attempts to reload Adobe

I have a windows 95 computer with internet explorer 4.xx
version. A business I deal with says I must upgrade to
version 5.5 or better to continue to have access. The
download center at Microsoft only gives the 6.0 as a

I get an error message saying that file "WS2_32.DLL" is
missing when the Win 95 program has completed its start
up.  Then when I try to load data from a CD my insurance
company sent me I get this error message - " MSVBVM60.DLL"

dsk can i download it and reinstall it form there computer
or can i download it and burn it onto a cd and install it

I have an old HP my daughter uses for homework and e-
mailing friends.  It has Windows 95 and did have Internet
Explorer 5.5.  We use AOL, but now we can't get online
because of a problem with Internet Explorer or so AOL
