When I turn my computer on, it relays a series of beeps
but then does nothing. The monitor does not display
anything, and the "caps lock" light flashes. Nothing
else... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, what a doozy.  My GF is currently using Windows 95 on
her laptop and wanted to upgrade to ME.  So I tried
running the ME OEM CD but it was not the upgrade version,
but the regular version.  I figured I could install it

Old computer. Pentium 90. Windows 95. Corrupted hard drive.
I have just reformatted the hard using the Startup disc.
How do I get it to recognise the CD drive to reinstall

my computer acts like its going to open windows 95 by
bringing up the windows startup screen. but then it give
me some options, to run in safe mode and all that junk. i
choose safe mode as it reconmends, then it acts like it's
