i tried dir c:\himem.sys /s /p
it lists 1 file 33,191 bytes
0 dir   233,947,136 bytes free
0 directory

I am trying to use Detto IntelliMover software (and a
parallel cable) to move files, etc. off my old Windows 95
machine to a new Windows SP machine. I have no writeable
capability on the old machine other than 3.5 floppy. I

modem, 56K V.90.
Its for a Windows 95 system, and an analogue connection.

I have an old win95 box running on our network at work.  We need to keep the
old thing for reasons not worth trying to explain.  Anyway, the drive in the
thing is very small in today's terms.  I think its like 860 meg or something
insane.  It's full, user only has 6 M  yes only 6 ...

Does anyone know if just copying WS2_32.DLL to the system folder
will enable the installation/execution of Ad-Aware (and, perhaps,
SpyBot)? Would this interfere with the operation of the currently

it. I formatted the harddisk and later use the win95 cd to

I have an IBM 380Z laptop that was given to me.  I have
been trying to install Win95 on it.   I put in the boot
disk which installs the drivers needed for the CD Rom..
then I install Win95 from the the CD Rom no problem.

I noticed after copying some documents from my mailbox,
that I could no longer save my documents in Wordpad.  I
get and error message stating: wordpad is not a valid
win32 application.  Can someone tell me what's up?
