when I run defrag a it stops with an error message 'id
no.defrag004' and tells me to run scandisk. scandisk finds
no problems but running defrag again causes the same
message to appear.

I have problems with installing my D-Link networkcard in  
my old P-100 Win95 computer. After installation the "!"
appears on the networkcard icon in the device manager and
I get the message that my networkcard isn't fully

My P2P programs are not connecting to the internet. All
they do is stay on "connecting". What am I doing wrong or
is Win95 not capible of running /using P2P files share

I purchased a 'puter with win 95 from my school online
auction, however it says there is no mixer device
avaliable, so it won't play sounds...where/how can I get a
mixer?  Thank you  :)

I get this error msg that my Io.sys is missing or corrupted, and i believe that is the reason my computer does not boot properly.  any way that I can correct this error?

I had to reload Win 95 into my PC . When I try to boot my
system it goes through all the steps of booting up but
when it gets to the screen that says " starting windows
95 for the first time " it switches over to MS-DOS. I've

i have a atx power supply machine on which win95 is loaded
when i shutdown the pc its shutdowns easily & gives the
message also "its now safe to turn off", but the problem
is that being an atx the power is not auto switched off.

I'm running a DOS-based game on Windows 2000 SP4's command-prompt
(command.com or cmd.exe) that shipped with build 1.8.  Eventually replaced
with 1.97 and VDMSound to go get it run somewhat reliably.  Now have run

I try to start the computer, it goes to where it says
starting windows and the then goes to a picture of the  
windows 95, and then the screen goes blank and then the

I have an IBM thinkpad  with windows 95.  All was well
until recently my mouse started to drift off to the side,
I physically forced it to where I wanted.  One day I tried
booting my pc up and came up with a system board error.
