I can connect with a modem on certain conditions with win95 dailup, however, recent problems on this operating system cannot find a modem? Is this normal for microsoft?

MS KB article 175629 indicates that an updated version of esdi_506.pdr, version 4.00.1119 was to be made available. I have not been able to find this version -- the latest that I can locate after extensive search is 4.00.1116.
