every time i try to open internet explorer...i get a illegal operation message that says "Iexplorer caused an invalid page fault in KERNEL32.dll at 0137:bff782af What does this mean and how can i fix it?

i've had this prob a long time and I sure could use some help. I lost my mspaint.exe file along with some others it seems. all is well now, sorta. I got a mspaint.exe file somewhere, but this prob may or may not be related.
