I am trying to intall windows 95 on an old computer with 1gb hard drive. I have the win95 seyup disks (13 disks and a boot disk). The boot disk works, but when i am told to insert disk 1, i receive this message:

when i put in my boot disk to reformat my win 95 it reads the floppy and comes up to the c prompt. what do i enter to get it to read the cd drive with the win 95 disk in it? i tried, run, setup, format, and none worked. i tried changing the drive to D: but it changes it and ...

Scandisk could not write to the c:\scandisk.log...Is this a fried hard drive? Initial problem was a blue screen fail to write to c drive error.

I need a reboot disk for windows95.where can I get one? The only restore/recovery disk is on a cd and computer will only run in safe mode.

I work on computers that I can buy cheap on ebay try to fix them up for some kids that can't afford to have one. I know that they are old and slow but it is a good tool for the child to learn on. I have three sets of windows 95

hi,, actuly i did install Ad-Awere on a guys win 95 system,, and he now wants it removed.. i tried to uninstll in add and remove and it says eroor messgage "can not remove is in use"

as far as I know, Windows 95 is regarded as not further supported OS. Is it possible to install it freely on old machines, or is that prohibited. Thanks. Best regards,

I have my reinstall diskettes but lost the package with the licensing agreement number. My computer is stuck, whenever it is turned on, it goes back to enter license number. Is there a way to get this number to reinstall
