When I try to restore files backed up in Windows 95 to a
PC running Windows XP, I get a 'file not recognised
message.' Help!

WINDOWS DELETED REGISTRY/CONFIGURATION ERROR
C:\WINDOWS|DBLBUFF.SYS - MISSING OR CORRUPT
SECTOR NOT FOUND READING C
THEN THE COMPUTER JUST SITS WAITING FOR ME TO TYPE

Is there anyway I can download Internet Explorer 5.5 if
I'm still operating Windows 95??????

I entered a login in name and a password then window 95 crashed. I can still access Dos
I've done  a lot of work on it to bring it back now there are only 2 error messages left

I actually have two problems;
1) When I turn on the computer, I have to insert my start
up disk 2 to 3 times before the system will run.  Is there
a way that I can fix this problem?

My version is of 24-08-96 410 kb.

Using "Inbox" to download mail from ISP.  Whenever user
try to print document attachments it prints the email
itself, not the attachment.  Any ideas?

Installed a new HP printer about a week ago.  Since then
Win 95 won't shut down using the start/shut down
sequence.  No big deal but annoying.  Any thoughts?

My computer runs on Windows XP and one of my daughters'

whenever i start up my other comp im getting the msg:

the windows registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this

I have been trying to reinstall windows 95 without
success.  When I get to the prompt that asks for the
product ID, I enter my ID from the the certificate of
authenticity that includes OEM it then tells me that this

Really elementary question:
I want to be able to click on an icon on the desktop and transfer a file
from directory "C:\a\b" to drive "e".
I know this may have something to do with a batch file, but I don't know

I need basic help on file and disk management...hard drive
stays 94 to 99% full all the time...I don't know what else
to delete or uninstall. MY DOCUMENTS is relatively small;
I suspect hidden files that have grown over the years.
