Does anyone know of any free ad-aware style software, that
is compatible with windows 95.

I'm trying to istall AVG Professional Single Edition
software on my Desktop with Windows95. I have downloaded
the DCOM95 programs and executed them and ran the AVG
software and kept getting the message that the DCOM95

I have many back up disks of recipes, addresses, etc using
the cardfile program.  When the new OS's came out they
took out the cardfile program!  Now this makes my data
unusable.  Did anyone write a new cardfile program or

I've cutch a virus which have delete my win95 system file
from my computer. Then I formated my C: and tried to
intstall a new version of win95 from this companion disk.
Unfortunately, they are so clever that they did not

How do I go about converting Word Perfect DOS documents to
a Windows format?  I have Windows 98 on my PC and XP on my
laptop.

I have ibm thinkpad 600 i let my grandson use (mistake)him
and his brothers reformatted the hard drive I have tried
to reinstall windows but my dvdcd drive is removeable with
my a drive i get the boot disk to work but then it won't

I know I.m outdated but I need to upgrade my windows 95 to
98.I have a 98 disc.Can I just install over win95?.will I
lose any files?Do I need to backup?Thanks any help is

When booting up, it freezes at Windows 95 logo screen.  
There are no error messages.  Any suggestions?

Isnt there a hardware piece that I can take out of my
computer to erase all memory before I give it away to

I want to know if Windows98 drivers are usually compatible with Windows95.
I've read some things that use the same drivers for both, but others that
use different ones.

THE SYSTEM KEEPS SAYING REPLACE THE DISK,AND PRESS ANY
