my computer gives me the errror message cannot find
win.com.  I have read about taking win.cnf off windows
cd.  The probelm is that my cd-rom drive is not working.  
problem with c:\oak\cdromdrv.sys.  Is their anyway I can

My trusty old Tosh Libretto sub-notebook runs Win95B (OSR2?) and I have had
years of relatively trouble-free operation. I only run a 2 Gig HDD and

Running multiple Win95 machines, when I perform a shutdown
from START>>SHUTDOWN, they lock up before it gets to the
infamous 'It is safe to turn off your computer...'.
When I come back to them, I have to turn off the machine

I am trying to install an ethernet card from Netgear and
the software (cd) will not load. HOw do I load this

says it's ok but winmm.bak has errors but won't repair

I have formated the hard drive and used a Windows boot disk
for CD Support.  I have a Windows 95 version that I went to
install on the computer that it came with and it asked for
