I have a laptop with win95.  Would like to upgrade to 2000
or xp.  The upgrade are only from win 98.  How do I
upgrade to 98 or directly to xp or 2000 without paying

I'm an IT student and know quite a bit about computers.
My uncle just recieved a very old computer from another
uncle of mine. It has windows 95 on it but apparently he
had AOL (sucks) and it put some sort of plug in on the

I had to run my recovery disc and in the process took off
my Worldnet software.  I reinstalled worldnet and got an
error message that I needed to have "Visual Basic
Scripting Support."  A.T.& T. tells me that it is part of

Per my friend's suggestion, I had downloaded ad-aware 6.0
to remove adwares in my machine. As soon as I installed
that program to my pc and run a scan, I restart my pc and

I am having trouble reinstalling windows 95.  When I get
to the prompt that asks for the product id and I enter the
id that came with my certificate of authenticity it says
invalid.
