The subject sort of says it all.  I made a system disk and
then formatted C.  Now I can't get to the CD drive to
install 95.
I know there's a file I should have on the system disk

First time computer user. when trying to download net zero
to my C drive, it accepted the complete file but then came
up with error 17. I then clicked OK, and screen showed
illegal operation warning. The choices then were to either

I re-formatted my computer and wanted now to re-install
Win 95. Unfortunately, I do have all Win CD's but lost my
book disk. So, I have got one from a friend. I tried to
re-boot but I always get the message that the file

I recently tried to install ws2setup.exe on a Windows 95
computer (4.00.950 B) in order to access Juno IP
service.  I followed the required steps to download the
win2setup.exe file and received the following message:

i can no longer access windows 95 from my computer.  The
only reason i want access to it is to recover old files
that are on the computer, becuase it is so out of date.  
The three error messages that I get are:

I would like to install an old excel-based program that is

using "DriveSpace 3" which apparently can only be found on

would not boot Windows or recognize external drives, but I
could see and manipulate data from DOS so I know the data

This pertains to my Windows 95 machine which I still use.  Last Fall I was
booting the computer and it beeped and said there were possible errors on the
disk and I had to run a thorough scan to check the drive.  It found one bad
sector.  I rebooted the computer and it ran scandisk ...

i have the 13 and 30 disk installation floppys.  
whenever i try to install windows 95 at the same place it
keeps saying unable to read from drive a.  My uncle has
this same problem .it gives me this error when i am

My computer will not load its windows 95 software.  It
starts up then before it goes past the DOS setup screen
it says the the CPU can't locate win.com.  It just stays
in the DOS format.  How can I fix this.
