I am repartitioning an oldr computer (windows 95) and i
accedently deleted a file that comes up as win.com, and
now when i turn it on it comes up in dos, what should i do
to fix it?

I am having problems in upgrading my windows 95 to windows
98.  I cannot find windows 98 and I do not know if my
computer would have enough memory to install windows 98 or
windows 2000.

I can find an article to correct this error for Win 98
and ME, but not for 95. That article provides a utility
for deleting the registry entries for the existing modem.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Any help or direction to step-by-step procedures on below
will be much appreciated.
THE PROBLEM
I am running Windows 95 v.4 on my computer. I can not

D drive will not run when I put the windows 95
setup disk in. I can not locate the directory for the
WIN95 CD

monitor   how do i check for proper display drivers

Quite often I get missing DDL file messages.   The latest
is when I tried to download the K9 firewall program.  
Message reads that it can't find WS2_32.DLL file to run
program.

I've tryed rebooting as you've to me to do so and i'm
getting a message that reads windows/command.com.
I could have reinstalled but the cd now has broken in
pieces. now i guess i'm totally out of luck

I'm trying to boot an old computer & it keeps on asking me
for a floppy disk.  It seems like it's not booting from
the hard drive.  How can I change that?  Where & what
