I just was given an old compac computer loaded with
windows 95,but when I go to start it the start menu is
gone and it says some windows files are missing and it
starts in dos.Not knowing anything about ms dos I am

when i boot my pc, i get a colonial 32 in explorer. this
causeed a general protection fault in MODULE DIBENG.DLL
at 0003: 00000e41. how can i bypass this error so that my
pc will boot up?

I just got my pentium 3 500 mhz home and it has been wiped
clean. I believe it was set up with windows 95 originally.
What operating system can I install and still have it run

Get Data error reading drive C error message with Abort,
Retry, etc. as second line.  Attempted to boot from 95

I am working on a Compaq Presario 4814 with win 95.  I
upgraded the ram from 32mb to 256mb (max. allowed.  The
computer freezes as soon as the Windows 95 start up

drive - a Western Digital 80GB.  I want to install the

Hi all I was wondering if there is a place to download updates for windows
95?Have a friend with 95 on her laptop and had to reformat it due to TONS of

version. I also have XP that I wish to install, along with the two
versions of 98, but I might not.
