Is there a decent Notepad alternative for Windows 95. I don't like WordPad, but I would like to use something with a similar style, and without a maximum file size limit .

Do later versions of dll files work perfectly for files that were designed to use earlier versions, with windows 95 and current dlls in mind. Thanks.

I have 89 files with .chk as the extension. On C drive. They average about 48k each. Some with 32k and 64k. Seems they are from errors being converted to files, from ScanDisk.

I get a white box that reads windows cannot read from drive A:. If this is a network drive, make sure the network is working. If this is a local drive, check the disk.
