Had a problem with an old pc. Now on start up I get a
message saying windows recognises the monitor and that I
should go to my computer etc. Nothing else appears on the
monitor so there are no icons for me to click onto. The

disk for it, but then I realised that the start disk was

Ok, here's my problem.  Windows 95 only starts in safe
mode.  I tried pressing F8 at boot up but I get the same
thing.  I get an error message saying, "Fatal exception OD
has occured at 031F:00003N54".  My computer was working

My brother's windows 95 has stopped running...everytime
he tries to search or install a program he get the
message "this program has performed an illegal action and

I am looking for good firewall for Win 98SE and WinME.
My machine runs WinXP, I use ADSL to connect to the Net, and I use
WinXP's built-in firewall when I'm online.
My friends have their machines online via ADSL too, but their machines

tried using wal-mart connect to connect to internet.  
when loading program the following error showed "WWM.EXE
file is linked to missing export OLEAUT32DLL277"  walmart
said had to go to HP and needed to update WWMDLL file.

computer formatted by kid, dont have bootdisk to setup
win95. have cd but no floppy to boot system.ive found xp
but no 95
Mouse pointer hangs, everything freezes05 Oct 2004 18:39 GMT2
While moving around and clicking on this, that and the otherthe mouse
pointer suddenly hags, and everything is frozen. I use key strokes to
close everything down and reboot. I assume it would be a memory
problem, but sometimes everything hangs  with just a few swipes
