When viewing different file type extentions, I unintentionally associated a
file type with a program, but I don't remember which file type it was (the
program was Notepad).  Since it wasn't given a "file type," it won't appear
in the file associations list.

Among onther upgrades, I recently installed a version of IE 5.5 that's
included on the ubiquitous AOL 9 discs on a Win95a machine. This release
seems to work OK, but it's SP0 version, not the highly prized SP2 release.
At the following site is a file that's 3.51 Mb in size:

I am using Win95 and IE 5.5.
On 11/12/2004 some 3843 files were created in C:\Windows
SYSMAP.exe was created in C:\ and install.exe was created
in C:\Windows\Temp.

cant get windows 95 to start on new computer hardrive comes up fine on old
computer but when I put it in my newer computer I get error 0028:c000932b in
vxd vmm(01)+0000832b called from 0028:c002eff0 in vxd vpico(01)+000007fc

I am trying to get an old DOS package to work on a new machine.  (It's old
tax prep software that I still need as a tax accountant.)
Both old and new computers are Windows 98.
All of the old software is in one DOS directory.
