I'm basically trying to just make an internet connection.  In the process I

I have some questions about it.
See, I have both Win95(pre-A) and Win95C (OSR2.5).

I have a Compaq Presario 4220 with a V410 Monitor. It is preloaded with
Win95b.In the Display Properties Monitor Refresh Rates  are shown as under:
640x480 - 60 Hz           800x600 - 75 Hz
1024x768  - 60 Hz       1280x1024   - 87i Hz

I recently was given an old computer that had originally been preloaded with
Win95.  The hard disk had been wiped clean and reformatted.   I was also
given the original Win95 CD that it came with, and a Win95 startup floppy.
But I haven't been able to figure out how to reload it ...

After I ran Disk Scan for correct errors on my Windows 95
system, I cannot reboot the computer.
It starts rebooting, gives the Windows 95 picture screen

Here's my situation ... We just upgraded out accounting system to Quickbooks
from Great Plains like ancientstillrunsonDOS ... QB likes at least 98 and GP
won'r look at anything above 98.  
We have GP running off of a Novell 5.1 server that we are about to retire,

I have several batch files (*.bat) that redirect their output to files.
However, they all add a blank line at the end which I do not want. What can
