My older, secondary computer (pentium 120) is running windows 95.  Well, at
least it used to.  It worked fine, then it regularly started freezing up
randomly.  I could always restart it and it would be fine for awhile.  Now, I
can't even get it to load windows.  It always freezes ...

I'm trying to retrieve documents from an old computer that had a start-up
password.  I've forgotten the password.  Can it be reset or disabled?  I
understand there may be a way to do it in my BIOS.

On executing a .exe file in Windows 95 two error messages appeared: 1)
Relating to the .exe file "a device attached to the system is not
functioning."  However, in the present situation I did not see any
exclamation points in "Device Manager" indicating any hardware was not

i use windows 95 with service pack 1 (95a). is there a way to use win95 to
access HD formatted with fat 32?

when I try to run scandisk, it is unable to complete the task due to the
error message "there is not enough free space to run scandisk, please close
some applications and try again" - I have tried everything!!  There is
pleanty of free space on the computer and I have tried ...

Our Win95 PC crashed recently.  Of all things, it happened while attempting
to make an emergency startup disk.  It appeared as if the partition and boot
sector got damaged, and we had to re-partition and re-format the drive.  We
managed to get DOS loaded, and the CD-ROM drivers ...
