IE start up page was hijacked in March with the following as the URL.
res://C:\windows\system32\shdocpl.dll/security.HTMFFsubID=MPV;401.
I have worked out how to reset my startup page, and reactivate my IE options.

I had to format C:/ and tried to reinstall the winows that came with the
computer but don't have the product key. Here all the info,,,I have the
original start up disk and windows CD that came with it.
Heres the info:

need to restore the data contained on it, but I don't have any Win95 systems

Was able to copy disc onto C: as Win98Flat (temp). When I go to safe mode,
command prompt only it says himem.sys not in directory, which is true.
When I tried to copy himem.sys from boot disk it says cannot copy already
there.

I am grif of 12/1/2004. I have finally developed this error message that I
hope is the bottom of my problem. Can anyone make a workaround suggestions
via format or fdisk or command prompt. I have at least been able to cd from
a: to c:
