Hi you all, looking for a little help with win95 install, I was going to
reinstall win95 in my old 486dx100 that has 64 mg of ram for my grand kids
to play some old games that my kids play with, I have the win95 full install
disk and I have my old dos 6.1 disk but I can't find ...

The following URL has many downloads for browsers in "ZIP" files, but it says
that they won't work on W95 because "The .local trick wasn't added until
Windows 98 and Windows 2000."!! Does anybody know what that means??

I have  dual OS system and one of the OS's is win95(b).  I just upgraded
my system with 1 gig on Memory, and now I get a "Not enough memory"
error.  I know that there are some Hexidecmal codes for the Config SYS

When my desktop was originally configured, the hard drive was partitioned
into three partitions (C, D, and E).  As I recall, this was done to get
around the 2 gig limitation of Windows 95.
Currently, the computer boots up to the D partition, where Windows 95

Is there anyway i can use RDP to connect to a Windows 95 machine? I
have installed the client from
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/tools/rdclientdl.mspx
and it is quite happy to connect from the 95 box to other machines.

Two possibly related problems: when on the net my connection is suddenly lost
but then redials itself automatically. It also tries to dial out when I am
offline with a strange user name in the connection box.

When browsing for a shared printer using the add printer wizard there are
several PC's that are listed yet do not have a shared printer. How do I
remove these invalid entries.
The PC's that are listed are a mix of Windows 95 & 98.

Is it possible to be the cd rom to work in safe mode?  I need to reinstall
