I have two system othe older one windows 95 and no Certicate of authenticity.
I need one OEM. The other windows xp home edition can i upgrade my windows 95
to the windows xp. For my own use. Bquick55@bellsouth.net

Using Windows 95 as host and XP as quest with serial
connection I get the following message:
   TCP/IP CP error 736, remote computer terminated the  
control protocol

This is prbably the wrong NG. 8-(
Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I need to know how to create Windows 95 installer floppy disks. My
laptop crashed, and it has no CD-ROM. Approx. How many floppys would it

I am trying to get my older pc that is installed with win95 to boot back into
windows at startup.  I have the original boot disk with all files on it,
along with the original Win95 cd installation disk.  
Two problems occur:   1. At the A:> prompt, I cannot get into any other

When trying to setup Win95 on a Dell 8200 the files seem to be copied OK,
but when setup restarts the computer I get a protection error when the ISO
begins to start and the computer shuts down.
It seems I vaguely remember this protection error, but it has been awhile.

I just downloaded and installed the "Command Window Here" utility for
Explorer from Microsoft onto my Windows XP machine.
