At least exist the freedos project to keep alive DOS and the reactos
project to keep alive WinNT, but appear that nobody cares about Win9x

are there any knowledgeable, or can share a pointer in
the right direction, of what dos-applications _can't_ be
run from windows95/98 ?
besides programs that can't live under protected mode

i was using XP and changed to Vista,no when i to print from the EXTERNAL
FLOPPY DRIVE (3.5 MOS/DOS) it will not print when i select the y (yes go to
printer function)
it just says check printer.
