I received a 32MB USB memory key for work to take on a
business trip to share files between computers. My
computer is running w98se.  When I insert the key into a
USB port, the driver wizard comes up and can't find any

slow (1hour to boot to win98), and Registry files
corrupted. Have repaired Registry so can now boot to win

Turning on computer to start windows 98 and prompts
\windows\IFSHLP.sys\vmm32.vxd reads and states that
cannot find this path.

after having purchased myself an 80gig drive the other day,
and setting it up with two partitions, and then using
Symantec Ghost to image across my current OS install, i've
hit this problem with drive lettering.

Does anyone know the Partition size limit of Fat 32 under
Win 98?

I'm trying to delete a folder containing sub-folders and
files with unreadable file names.  When I click delete, I
get the error message: Cannot delete file: File system
error (1026).

I recently formatted my  C drive. Now, when I put in the windows 98
startup disk I get a message saying.\:
Loading Floppy
Error 0x80

When I insert a music cd the computer will start to go on-
line. I assume this ia a settings problem. I am using
Windows 98.

I can't access 'A' drive when in windows dos. I try to
send data to disk in 'A' drive and I get [drive not

I bought a 120 GB Hdd.
I want to install W98se and XP on this drive. ( my boss wants to work with
XP so he gave me a packet of XP to get used to it )
So I tried to make partitions with FDISK.

When i go to turn my PC it gos to start but stops at the
win 98 splash screen. When i hit ESC to see whats behind
