Hi, I have a machine running Windows 98 that boots up to
safe mode everytime I start the pc. How can I fix this so
that it will boot into Windows normally.

I have installed a new hard disk as a secondary master
disk.  When I attempt to install new applications to the
new disk, now the D:\, OS will lock up forcing hot boot.  
Some installs will succeed others will completely fail.

I downloaded a couple of programs that are supposed to
recover data from hard drives that had to be reformatted.
I had Windows 98 SE on the hard drive that was
reformatted, through the DOS tools. I did an exhaustive

Is there a listing of hard disks upon which Windows 98 can
be installed?  BIOS changes and mods are no problem.

Is TCP/IP from the Win98 CD?? and if so, then is it a

I have a program written on a cd-rw disk that I want to

I am trying to add a cdrw drive and a second hard drive
to a windows98se 500mhz system. I put the cdrw drive on a
gray ribbon by itself and set the jumper to master. For
some reason, It's not working. It gives a code10 error in

My BOIS is able to detect the CDROM. However, once the
Windows 98 finished loading, I could not see my CDROM
drive, which is my E:/ as C: and D: are my hard disc
