have the disk but lost productkey.how do i get one?

ok... fdisk is reporting my full disk size (c:\) (says the

I compressed a start up drive and when I try to uncompress
this drive, it tells me to run scandisk as there is a
problem on the drive.  I run the scandisk and it reports

i am running 3 differant hard drives with no large disk

My daughter's computer is a Win 98 SE, IBM PC 300 GL.
She reinstalled the operating system from the Microsoft CD.
This problem has been around prior to the reinstall -- the
reinstall did not help it.
