I' m trying to run scandisk to the C drive it gets to
about 30% and stops with an error 53, the machine hangs
and I need to POR.

  I would like to format my computer and when i type in
Format c: i then press the "Y" Key to proceed i get the

Please help me on this one...
Everytime I try to format my hard drive using the Win98
startup disk...I do a  FDISK first but can't get the FDISK
to work and get the following message:  "no fixed disks

While attempt to re-upgrade my window 98 2nd edition to

I have an installation disk on CD for a print shop

I had to replace a bad hard drive which was 4gb.  The new
drive is 40gb.  I ran fdisk and enabled it for large
drives and did not partition the drive but when I

I have a Western Digital 40 gig hdd with Win98 that will not boot to
windows. It will only boot to a command prompt in safe mode.. Efforts to run

I ran fdisk /MBR trying to get rid of the monkey virus.
Now I get Invalid partition table error at boot. Can I
rebuild with out losing my data? I have a clean boot disk
and I do have EZ drive program.
