When starting my computer, the Windows screen appears and the scandisk
starts because of the last session was not stopped correctly (power outage).
The problem is that the scandisk stops after 1% and says there is an error.

When I put a disk in the "A" drive, I get  a message: Disk
not formatted..do you want to reformat now? The disk I'm
trying to read is drivers for a CDROM RW. I am using
windows98se.

I have windowns 98 second edition on my computer and the  
cd-rom drive won't work. I've tried a few things to fix
