When I click on the icon for the main hard drive in my computer, the C drive, I get the following message. No "setup.exe" file found. I need to correct this missing file so I can access the contents of the "C" drive. Thanks

My Notebook is running under WinMe and I will downgrade to Win98 SE. The problem is that the Notebook (Tecra 740CDT) has no FDD and only a CD-Drive. On my PC is Win98 still running and I tryed to burn an bootable CD, but it does'nt work.

I've run a dos test and it appears that DMA is available on my two hdd's. What are the possible sideeffects of ticking the 'enable dma' box then? I really don't fancy trashing all my files.
