i just bought a new Ultra ATA/133 harddrive and was
wondering if i need to update the UDMA driver in win 98.
also where can i get this driver?

I have just upgraded to a new computer and plan to
contribute my old machine to charity. This machine is
running Windows 98 Second Edition and I would like to
remove all programs as well as my personal data. Advice

My 7.85GB hard drive has filled up even though I haven't
downloaded anything.  Norton Anti-Virus detects no virus.
It seems that if my computer sits idle I hear activity and
that seems to be when something somehow fills up the drive.

The hard drive C: crashed and running scandisk shows the
drive is all bad sectors. I replaced the hard drive with
another and re-loaded win 98 but now my slave drive has no
drive letter and I can not access the data stored there.

My Windows 98 disc got stepped on and broke. Does anyone
know where I can get a new one or used one for that
matter. Thanks

I recently had to reinstall Windows and every thing is
fine except for my display. It defaults to 640x480, 16
colors.
I change the settings to 800x600, 256 colors click apply

why are all my files coming up as "read-only" ?

i keep getting an error message to clean disk space in
