My computer had two hard drives in it, one was from a WIN
XP computer and the other was WIN 98. The 98 hard drive
has smaller capacity than the XP, I want to change to the
bigger drive. So how do you completely delete the

I am unable to use the disk defragmenter.  Tried to do it
in safe mode, but the computer wont start in safe mode
either.  When i hold down the control key while it starts
up, i get a message saying stuck key.  Any ideas?

   I was running Windows Me upgraded from win98 second
edition in which had an error that only allowed it to boot
to Safe Mode.  
    I moved all files except system file to the D drive.

I tried to install office 2000 on win98(through the
network) but it always stopped/hang in the process
without completing the task.
What do i do?

Why after I have my computer closed for a long time and I want to reboot I
have to reboot twice?

I have recently installed windows 98 second edition onto a
new 40gb Maxtor hard drive but when i try to change the
old master drive to a secondary drive in order to get my
information that is on the drive transfered to the new

Help I need to find my product key to start up my computer
at work! How can I find it? Is it somewhere in the disc in
a file or folder??

While running SCAN DISK   WIN98 will stop in the middle of
running scan diisk and start all over again from the
beginning
on and on...

can't find the product code that needs to be entered.
What do I do? I have none of the original packaging.

Defrag:checking drive for errors,that all it does.
 C:\20gb 13.4gb free (windows 98 4.1 athalon 1ghz
                      284mb ram )
 scandisk /all /surface was run prior to running defrag.  

with windows 98 i turn off the screen saver.. reboot to
safe mode.
then i run scandisk and/or defrag. the programs themselves
work fine, its when they finish that I have a problem. I

After i downloaded and installed this program called
defragmenter pro plusmy computer crashed and when it
restarted it came up with all of these dll errors and said
it was running low on system memory and then said there

I have noticed a number of questions regarding msinfo. I
had the same problem and was told to delete the line from
my win.ini file refering to msinfo, which I did. I have
had nothing but problems since. I have done a virus scan

While my computer is running periodically the floppy drive
will operate momentarily for no particular reason.  This
tends to freeze activity for a second. Can anyone suggest
a fix?
