Please help:  I would like to insall the driver for a
Brother MFC 3100C Printer/Fax on my computer. I checked

While running disc cleanup on Drive C: the message
appears "Scanning: Old Scan Disc files in the root folder"

Whenever I try disk defragmentation it only goes to 1% and
returns to 0.  No matter how long I let it run it will not
go past 1%.  What is wrong, and more importantly, how can
I fix it.  Thank you so much for any help you can offer me.
