When I try to defrag drive C, it will defrag until about
50%, then stops and starts over. and over. and over. for
10 hours today. Scandisk works ok. Help.

I've setup a second partition on one drive, and need to
change the drive letter from d to s, have tried all sorts
of things, to no avail.  Any ideas anyone?

when i try to save a backup or a new downloaded file to
disk i receive the message:

My pc has 2 hard drives. The original 1gig came with win95
installed as master(C:). The 5gig added later as slave
partitioned into 3 smaller drives: 2(D:), 2(F:) and 1gig

I have downloaded a wind diag on a floppy disk, but when I
reboot, it won't begin the diagnosis.  I don't know how to
do that.  any ideas?

I am running WIN 98 on a Dell PII computer.  The hard
drive was divided into two drives; drive C and D.  We are
on a home netword and the original idea was that drive D

I started my CPU up today and was promted to insert

the file APPS.INS needs to be reinstalled from Windows.INS
file.  Since my computer came with windows'98se I don't
have the disks.  How can I reinstall this file?
