I am unable to access (or see) drive d:, the CD-ROM. Can anyone suggest a means to re-enable it? Thanks.

Both my DVDrom and CD-R/W drive are failing to show up in Windows explorer and are not seen by any application. On the control panel, the 'Secondary Bus Master IDE Controller ( dual fifo ) is showing up with a yellow circle and the explanation mark.

Problem, my son-in laws relatives ( kids), put a password in to his computer and now can't log on because the kids can't get the password right . How in the world do we get by this?

I have the cable provider coming to install cable internet tomorrow and I can't run winicfg.exe! Can I install it from the windows 98 or 98SE disk? And how is this done? I even searched for the file on my old computer and it is not there!

I was copying a file to my desktop, but as it was copying a window popped up saying, "You have ran out of HDD space". I had nothing to delete so i clicked cancel, but when i looked in "My computer" my hdd space had gone from 5 gigs
