Operating MS Windows "98" from a Dell System. Defraging never goes above 1%...short time...then a return to 0%and then to 1% again. Can someone advise? TIA

I can not access my floppy drive. It shows up in the listing but when I click on A:\ drive an error message comes up A:\ is not accessible, device is not ready. it acts like it has no power and the light doesn't come

I interchanged 2 hardrives (Master to slave vice versa) and suddenly the files in Win98 became corrupted. I am not able to boot from the emergency disk, do you have any suggestions?
