I am working on a machine running Win98 that has 2 disk
partitions (C & D). Everything is installed on the C Drive
on this machine and the D drive is going unused. I would

My system running WIN98 SE does not recognize the CD/RW
and the device manger states a conflict for both my CD/RW
controller (code 10) and Secondary IDE Controller (code
11).  I can not find the correct CD/RW drivers and the

I have Windows 98 and drive is formatted as FAT32. I
have accidentally deleted an important file and
emptied "Recycle Bin". Also I deleted another file by
using [Shift]+[Del] (that is by bypassing "Recycle Bin").

When we select files, hit delete, confirm we want to
delete the files, they do not end up in the recycle bin
and are not even deleted.  The computer has ample space
allocated for the recycle bin, it also has Norton

is not accessible).  I checked Device Manager and it says
it's working properly. Checked the driver in Device
Manager and it says it's up to date.  What can be done to
