I would like to know which is the better (clean) way of installing a big capacity Hard Disk Drive with Windows 98 SEcond Edition ? The motherboard is new and recognises easily a 164.7MB HDD.

When launching Win98, Microsoft claimed that FAT32 not only saves HDD space (which is clear, due to smaller cluster size), but also that applications load faster and uses fewer system resources. Can anyone explain these?

I have a W98 300mhz, 64RAM PC for the kids that we thought was damaged so we had W98 reloaded. It seems to be fixed, but I'm a little suspicious about the fact that Windows is in three separate folders.
