I installed a second 60GB hard drive to my Win98 system.
CMOS recognizes two hard drives and Windows recognizes two
hard drives (my CD-Rom moved from D: to E:) but Win98 will
not assign a drive letter (D:) to the new drive.

When I boot to a win98 floppy, I cannot read files from a
CDR which I made. I can read the CDR from a DOS window
entered from windows. Do I something different from
MSCDEX.exe or OakCdrom.sys on my boot disk or what?
