First off, I have a multi-boot system Win98 on C: partition, Win2000 on D:
and WinXP on E:
I've recently posted this before...but this time it's different, well...it's
actually the same problem that I "fixed" (using SYS C: from the start-up

I am very new to this so please bear with me.
Im trying to find a way to directly access a physical drive so that I can read
each and every sector from the windows environment.
So far I have been able to access the int13 exts only from a dos box and if

I cant find a startup disk for windows98 and i tried to
make one, but it only works halfway and doesnt load the
rest. Is there anywhere that sells just the the floppy

My defrag works fine until  it says 10% complete and then
it wont do any more but either discontinues or restarts

Have found product key for Win98 from regedit, however our
former office staff mixed multiple CD's without keeping
with individual systems.  Is there a way to search the
Win98 CD to find which one corresponds to that system when

I have an old Compaq Armada 158ODT laptop running off win
98.  When I start it i get the following error:
"Type the name of the Command Interpreter (e.g.,
C:\windows\command.com)"

I purchased a retail system with an Abit BD7II Raid motherboard and one
120 GB Hitachi/IBM drive, 512 mb ram and Win98 SE.

 how do i restore my biosf2 after i ae formatted my hard
drive. someone messed around in my Bios and stopped  my
floppy drive from booting during boot up. it says diskette

I recently tried to convert my internet server to Road
Runner wireless connection. The technician who came had
difficulty booting up RR and said one of the window 98SE
files was corrupted. I reinstalled Windows 98SE ( it wiped

trying to download boot disk for windows 98.  Getting VDD
windows protection error.  Any ideas for help?
