Hi, I think I messed up :( again...
I have a triple-booted system set-up to boot OS this way: WinXp, Win2000 and
Win98.  I have no problems getting to the 1st 2 OSes...I get an Invalid
System disk prompt when I try Win98 however. I've already tried going into

I have a K7S5A AMD motherboard and the ide driver got
corrupted.  I can't find a ide driver on the Motherboard
manufacturers site.  Is there a generic windows 98 ide
driver or does anyone know what chipset this uses?  The

I just started receiving a message stating the
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\STCLOADER.EXE file may be corrupt. It
says to reload. How do I do this?

I have purchased a p.c. from an individual.  Windows 98se
operating system.  I want to completely remove everything
from the original owner and start with a fresh operating
system.  What is the easiest and most effective way to do

I just fdsiked my hard drive to partion all space into one
drive(c:) now Im unable to see my cdrom drive to load
windows.  Does anyone have any advice as to what to do

I recently replaced the hard drive in my HP Pavillion
8700 pc, which is running Windows 98.  I put 98 back on
it, just as it was before.  What I noticed when I
finished, is that my DVD drive, and my CD writer are now

Somehow I have aquired a phantom floppy drive "B".  My
original letter assignment ("A") to the floppy no longer
functions. The new phantom drive "B" does work but I need

months. Directories got corrupted and I can no longer
access the drive. Ran an extensive utility from the hard

I have a new asus MB with and all I get with win98se is 40+
gb on a 200 gb HDD.  I'v heard the limitations have been
overcome but I am having quite a time finding the right
answers.  XP also has its limitations.  It works with XP at

Windows dedects a USB mass storage device but i cant
locate the drivers either on PC or on the WEB
