Ok, i have a coupl programs that i am trying to run for win 98, but i try to open them and nothing a ms-dos window comes up and then closes i can't un-install be cause it does the same when i try grrrrrr... another ms-dos window come up. someone plz help me. they used to work ...

Running Win98SE with FAT32.  D: drive is 93GB formatted
and has lots of empty space.  Running CDex to rip audio
CD's into WAV files and everything goes smoothly for
awhile until......suddenly CDex stops and reports D: out

i cant get my compaq laptop to recognize my floppy drive.
also, in device manager both my floppy drive controller
and my hard drive controller show up with exclamation
points beside them. i can find the compaq floppy drive

My floppy drive works ok in Dos but it doesn't in Windows

I have a slave hard drive that is slowly dying a slow
death.
When I try EXPLORER, I get a fatal exception 0E has
occured at 0028:00000013.  The current application will

Hi, Win98 will recognize the Win98 CD, but no other CD. I
get a "device not ready" for all but one CD.  I reloaded
Win98 but that didn't help.  Any ideas?

This is the message I get when I start my pc.

I added a network card to my daughters computer for
internet access. I installed Norton Internet Security. NIS
constantly locked up loading the parental controls. I

Hi,my CD Rom Drive will recognize the Win98 CD but no
other CD.  I get a "Device Not Ready" when I put any other
CD in the drive.  I tried re-loading Win98, but no help.

After a friend of mine  formatted our computer for us, the
hard hard drive's space went away. It was very confusing
to us that our drive once has 10GB and now only has 2GB.
Does anyone know what may have happened and how to fix it.

cannot write to my cd rw.  disk is not write protected and
the file I am trying to copy is not in use.  this is a 98
system and I am having the same issue with an xp system.  
both systems are part of a network.  I can see the drives
