call me a newbie but when trying to extract three files
from the win98se disc the required files were not found.
i do not know if this is why my hp scanjet 4200c does not
work but can anyone tell me where i can get the following

Here is the short version. Dual boot computer. 98 and 2000
pro. I started having problems in both OS causing the comp
to freeze. It began after I dl a prog to calculate us
savings bonds from the treasury dept. I installed the prog

I have loaded the Win98 SE onto a pc. I go into the Device
manager and there are 2 yellow exclamation points nest to
the Primary and secondary IDE controllers. Now my CD does
not work. What is the fix ????

Got new hard drive.  Old system had 80 flat wire connector
with ZIP drive on middle connector and old hard drive on
end connector.  Second 40 pin flat wire connector had CD-
rom drive on end connector and nothing on middle

Hello. Somewhere, I read that either "issues" develop, or
just can't be done, using a HDD of over 64GB with 98SE.

when it boots-up it says Ultra DMA Drive S.M.A.R.T.

While running a defrag on my Windows 98, a power surge
occurred.  My UPS didn't help and I wasn't running in safe
mode.  When it rebooted, it got to the point were I could
see my desktop wall paper, no icons appeared; but I got

that I need to reformat it( I dont know how) and to use
an 98 recovery disc. I bought the computer new with 98 se
installed and registered to me, but I didn't receive any
