When I put in the recovery disc for windows 98 copying
files comes up than a message comes up saying 'secur32.dll
on windows 98 second edition cd-rom cannot be found.When I
try putting the disc in again it says 'ndis2up.vxd cannot

My C drive is full and D is nearly empty. I need to either

Neither scan disk nor defrag ever get past 1%. They never
complete though both worked fine a month ago.  Running W98
on a Dell Notebook.

Applog folder from c:/windows after closing all running
programs and then run Diskcleanup, then scan, then

Have an HP Pavillion with WIndows 98 that was working fine
until recently.  My son loads any of several game CDs to
our CD-ROM drive and initially the game begins with a menu
screen for the game.  As soon as he clicks to start, a

My floppy cannot be seen in win98. It works in safe mode
and in DOS, so I know that the hardware is okay. I removed
the controller from the device manager. I ran msconfig. i
removed the floppy from the registry. All did not work.

I erased my hard drive (due to viruses) and am trying to do a clean re-
install of Win98. I have downloaded several boot disks from
www.bootdisk.com, but none of them work. The computer gives the
same error message "invalide system disk." Can anyone help?
