i formatted my c drive and now i have to reinstall 98 from
dos. problem is that i somehow lost my driver for the
cdrom. i tried to reinstall it with the disk but i need
mscdex.exe to be install to dos. how do i do it?

i made my own boot disk for winows 98 and i accidentally
deleted the partition now that i have the start up disk i
can't get fdisk to work when i type it at the a prompt it
says no fixed disks present how can i fix this problem?

Help; please! When starting computer, my desktop is

I got the "remove jdbgmgr.exe" virus hoax. I removed the
file per the hoaz, learned the error, and then reinstalled
the file from my Win 98 disk.
I rebooted, but now the "D" drive with all it's data is

I have two hard drives: One is an 80GB which is the
primary and a 20GB which is set as slave.  I have only
been using the primary, but I wanted to know if I could
install Windows 98 on the secondary one.  If so, how do I

tried was Helmet Exagerate USB 2.0. My OS detected but

drive" without finding them in the Win98SE CD.

I have a 2-gig C drive, got a "disk full" error, deleted
nearly a gig of image files, yet the disk is still full.
Have defragged and scanned. Fat32 seems not to have
compressed the drive since then.
