I am trying to make an Emergency Repair Disk (ERD)for my
Windows 98 computer. I couldn't find how to do this under
Help. I did see some information about creating a Startup
Disk.

I have 2 hard disks, D:  is ok but since yesterday  C:
doesnt open unless I use the right click on my mouse and
click on " open"  ,
When i try to open C: , it says it need the program

Yes, it can be done but you need to install win95 and
win98 on separate
partitions and use a boot manager

I am unable to change my display resolution higher than 16-
bit color.  Of course everything on my screen is huge, so

We just stripped Windows NT from a computer, formatted the
hard drive and loaded Windows 98.  Tried to install
Microsoft Office and the CD drive will not recognize the
disks.  Tried several times with several copies of Office

Win 98 is screwed up! I'm trying to format the drive and
reload Win98. In DOS, when I type "format c:" I get the
following msg: cannot format mapped network drive"
