When I double click on C drive in 'my computer', it gives
message that file is no longer found 'hoyle.exe'.  This is
after I tried to install a Hoyle card game.  I tried going
into folder options to restore defaults, but no luck.

I have XPPro multi-booted over Win98.  I installed a third
party "mount all drives" shareware utility to view the XP
volume.
When I uninstalled it I find my (C)(WIN98) drive is

On my Gateway Solo laptop, with Windows 98SE.  Noticed
hard drive read/write light never stops flashing.  One
can hear the hard drive being accessed, yet no obvious
programs are running.  Laptop was with previous staff

I now have MSDOD 6.0 running  and can get to a C:\ prompt.
I want to use Win 98 as my new operating system, and have
the installation CD.
It will not load when I insert the cd in the drive.

I am running win98 on an amd k6-2 processor based on sis
chipset.i have connected a seagate barracuda 40gb hdd as
primary slave which has 4(d,e,f,g) partitions.my primary
master is a quantum fireball 4.3gb(c).the problem is that

if i compress a floppy disk using Drivespace 3 which
creates a host drive for it and I later format my physical
(c:) drive, will the info. on the floppy be lost?

(using Win98SE) Installed a new Western Digital hard drive
within the last 6 months and it has been working fine
until yesterday. Whilst online my PC suddenly went to the
HP blue start up screen and after hitting

When I try to use fdisk I get an error no fixed disks,
when I restart and press F1, I says there are no Primary
IDE Master installed nor Secondary IDE installed.

I am in a similar situation. I have installed a new hard
drive (80 G). Prior to this the drive had XP pro but I
don't have that. I have Win 98 and have "0" filled the new
hard drive as per the Manufatures instructions. When I

I've been getting an error about FAT 32 on my d:drive, which is my
storage drive(40gig). Then it does it's scan and things seems normal.
But then it happens again. Windows 2000 was just reinstalled (on my c
drive) by a tech. All should be well. Any ideas?

the game and it said game requires you to have your game
of life cd-rom in a drive plz help i have a ibm aptiva e
series 572 thanks ps it will not allow me to play any pc
