I am trying to install an os in my computer, it does not
have a floppy drive. Can I make a bootable cd rom.

I have MSDOs 6.0 running on my computer. I
I am now at a C:\ prompt.
I want to use Win 98 as my operating system.O have the
installation Win 98 cd, but it will not load.

A friend of mine has an 80 gig hard drive in one partition and 240 megs
of ram.  He uses Windows 98 SE and he can not run scandisk because it
says he does not have enough memory.  Does the scandisk that comes with
Windows 98 SE use XMS/EMS memory or does it use only conventional

I have fdisked a new 20G HD and formatted the HD and
installed win98se. The task manager shows that the
msqsrv32 program is not responding.

This is the msg i get when I try to read a floppy in win
expl or My Computer also no light comes on.

After some hardware changes, the CDRW in this computer is
showing up as "unknown device" in device manager.  The
drive itself is working off the system driver (ie, I can
read from it) and it shows correctly in the BIOS as a

I have a large number of digital pictures which I copied
