I'm in a mess.   I cannot boot (w/floppy or not), nor re-
install W98, nor format, nor set up Windows.  Message

I recently had a problem with my P.C.  My O.S.(Windows 98)
could not load so i had to use a boot disk.  but now my
O.S. won't load because it says "Windows 98 has detected
that drive C does not contain a valide FAT or FAT 32

I have recently reformatted a system running win 98 (for a
customer) and while the floppy drive is recognized, etc.
it will not read a disk. Is there an updated driver out
there ??? I can't find anything on the Manufacturer's site

error message says I need to relaod operating disk. Do I
need to make any backups or can I just reload the disk?

does anyone know how i can obtain one of these drivers

Had surge protector on pc, last time this happened it was
the power cord/cable just loose but this time it just
continues to read master system disk failure - does this
