I have a Windows 98 machine and get the subject error when attempting
to boot. HDD is first boot device.  Boot succeeds after one or two
ctrl-alt-del's

Have 2g HD, AMD K6 processor.
Windows says I have 500mb + available on HD.  
HP printer software says it dosent have enough room (needs
300mb) to load.  HP says windows 98 problem.

I installed a cd rw in a dell dimension desktop with a win
98 system.  The cd rw is a Lite-on 52x24x52.
I also upgraded the memory which was 64 meg to 3 x 128
meg.  

So my disk exploded in a drive as i was fomating on of my

I have a Liteon CD R/W Drive that has stopped working.  It
